Like anything else in life it’s a very good idea to have goals associated with your endeavors if you hope to achieve success, and your muscle building training is no exception. You can spend an enormous amount of time and energy on this, so it’s a great idea to have clearly defined goals and aims. An important question is, are you clear in your own mind just why you’re trying to build muscle? Is it to get as big as possible, to get as fit or as strong as you can, to achieve an optimum fitness level, or to attract women? Having a real purpose, and not simply doing this activity, will not only get you there quicker, but also more efficiently. Let’s start by looking at what we believe to be true when it comes to muscle building.

Whether they admit it or not, most guys are doing this type of activity to become more attractive to whoever it is they’re trying to attract. But here is where most miss the point. While extreme muscle building activities can lead to large muscles, that shouldn’t be the ultimate goal. Very few people are engaged in a top-level body-building competition, and the results of that kind of pursuit can be a combination of grotesque looking muscles, dangerous steroid use that is very unhealthy, and perhaps most of all, a physique that is entirely unattractive to the opposite sex.

If your goal is to become a more attractive, self-assured and socially influential person, then you need to look into developing what we like to call the Adonis Effect. This philosophy revolves around bringing out the best, most attractive body shape you can attain by getting your body as close as possible to its perfect shape of shoulder to waist proportions. This has been around for quite some time, and it’s evident by looking at classical works by Da Vinci and others, they all used these classical proportions as a model for the ideal human form.

So when it comes to goals for muscle building, you’ll want to make sure that first of all you’re being honest with yourself as to why you’re doing this, and then carefully consider how muscle building with an eye towards creating the best form hidden inside you can improve your social influence as it relates to your relationships, friendships and career. If muscle building becomes an end in itself, then at the end of the day, what remains? Focusing on how you can improve your life in these three main areas will bring you a much fuller quality of life than somehow achieving a 60″ chest.

Give this some thought. Decide who, ultimately, you’re trying to please, and give yourself the best chance at achieving a better, more attractive form. Then look into how you can best adapt your workouts to reflect this philosophy. This can and will result in a happier, more successful you!

What is the best cardio to do while on a muscle building routine/diet?

I am currently working out trying to gain lean muscle but want to do more cardio. What are the best cardio exercises for me to do that won’t have a negative effect on my muscle building goals? How often should I do cardio? For how long? Should I eat or drink a protein shake before? I need all of the details on the most efficient method. Thanks.

I think you should sprint or run for like 30 minutes. Not too long or else you won’t be building muscle. I think you should drink protein before weight training because thats how my friend (who is really built) does it.

A Long Panic Attack and What is Normal

A long panic attack can happen to any of us. These are rare instances, but it does happen. How exactly do we define what long is?

We define this in terms of time itself. It is not entirely uncommon to feel as if an attack lasted for a long time. Each second can feel like a minute. A minute may seem like an hour. Time can feel as if it is at a standstill while we are experiencing an attack. In general however, we can consider long to be over ten minutes.

Long panic attacks can last up to thirty minutes. These are very difficult to endure. The normal ones are already painful enough as it is, much less to consider one that can last three times as long! Fortunately, it is very rare. Even some of the attacks that seem long may not actually have that duration. It is possible to mistake a panic attack with the after effects.

After an attack, the symptoms gradually fade away. During this time, we are trying to calm down and return to a normal state. The symptoms usually will not disappear instantly. This is an important point to take a note of, as this phase is often mistaken for part of an actual attack.

What about normal panic attacks and how long do they last? These attacks are in the five to ten minute range. The vast majority of attacks that occur fall in this area. The actual average time can vary from person to person.

It can average for three minutes for one person, and seven for another. It can be helpful to time the attacks if you would like to find out. Try not to pay attention to the clock however, and focus the attention on getting back to a normal state. Watching a clock can make it feel even longer than it usually would.

Panic disorder is a pretty scary disorder to have and those panic attacks causes can be quite varied from person to person. We live in a very stressful world and there is just so much tension and stress in so many people worldwide and as a result of all this stress there is also a big number of people that suffer from panic and/or anxiety disorders.

One of the big causes of panic attack is phobias. When fears become irrational then they can become a real problem, as this is when you may start developing a panic disorder.

This fear can become so strong that when a person does come across their feared situation they could have a panic attack. The fear of another attack is enough to make them have another one.

The mind is put under enormous pressure during traumatic events and in some people it is just too much to handle and the way they think will begin to change and even become irrational.

Another cause of panic attacks is underlying disorders like depression. It is reasonably common for someone with depression to develop panic attacks, although not everyone with depression will. Your mind is already in a very negative path if you have depression and the constant negative thinking can develop fears of always being in depression amongst other fears.

The mind really is an amazing thing but unfortunately it isn’t always rational and when that irrational part of the brain becomes too strong it can be difficult to change it back to thinking rationally again. The body responds to dangerous situations with its panic reaction and this is normal, but when the mind is thinking irrationally it is letting the body think that it is in a dangerous situation when it actually isn’t.

The good news is that although it is difficult to change the way your mind is working, it is possible and you can overcome your fears and your panic attacks.

Panic attacks causes are not all that relevant to the cure. To overcome your panic disorder you need to try to think positively and be determined to beat it. There are some very simple techniques available that can help you to get rid of this disorder for good.
