Zenloc Security Systems Limited, the company behind the innovative Zenloc Container Alarm System (http://www.zenloc.com), is excited to announce that it has secured a lease/purchase agreement that enables the freight industry to securely protect its containers for a staggeringly low 57 pence per day. This new lease/purchase agreement, available through the respected business equipment leasing firm Shire Leasing in Tamworth, signals a groundbreaking new era in freight security given the incredibly low cost of protecting millions of pounds-worth of freight.

Up until now, container security was a costly or unreliable affair. State of the art alarms did not come cheap, perhaps explaining the proliferation of crude padlock and chain protection found on freight containers. This seemed ludicrous to many in the haulage security industry, not least because this is a highly ineffective way to protect haulage that often has a hefty price tag (the common bulldog lock can so easily and quietly be removed with oxy acetylene or power cutters). The Zenloc Container Alarm Security System was designed by experienced security consultant Barry Schofield to fill this gap in the market. A cross between a freight alarm and a freight lock and incorporating a hand-held receiver that protects the driver as well as the freight, this system is more effective at protecting precious cargo than just about anything else on the market.

Now, this revolutionary product is available through a lease/purchase agreement that makes reliable container protection affordable for both individual truck drivers and freight companies alike. Units of the Zenloc can be purchased outright for only £449 when purchasing between 51 and 100 units, and for just £499 when purchasing anywhere between just 1 and 50 units. Purchase between 2 and 20 units over 3 years at a cost of only £4.11p per week (only 59p per day) and between 21 and 70 units over 3 years for just £4.00 per week (just 57p per day!)*. All units come with a 12 month warranty and the option to purchase a maintenance contract for year 2 and 3 if required. The units can be insured for loss or theft at just £2 per unit per month through Zenloc Security Systems Limited’s insurance partners ‘Wrightsure’, which ensures a brand new replacement is provided should either part of the unit (alarm or receiver) be stolen.

This new agreement brings unparalleled freight protection to the entire freight industry at fantastically low cost; something that is sure to significantly impact freight security. Find out further information about the Zenloc at http://www.zenloc.com.

How to disconnect my beeping home security alarm?

We moved into this house 5 years ago.Previous owner did not include the codes for the system, and the security company whose contact information (name and number only) is indicated on the main keypad is now out of business.
The system is now indicating a power failure, and beeping on a constant basis. How do I shut the freaking thing off?

Answer
If it shows AC failure, it should die on it’s own within a day. There is a backup battery that can be disconnected in the main control panel if you know where that is, you just have to pull one of the leads off of it.

If you

Do you have a security alarm system in your house?

As a parent, do you have a security alarm and monitoring in your home? Do you find it gives you peace of mind for safety of you and your children?

Thanks!
Also- how much do you spend a month for it? Have you ever had “false alarms” or problems associated with your alarm?

Thanks for the info!

Answer
Yes we do, we have ADT

It is not just for break ins but it monitors for fire as well, so if we are not home, or we do not hear the alarm because we are knocked out from smoke inhalation the fire department will be notified .

The idea that you live in a “safe” neighborhood does not protect you. Professional thieves purposely target those areas because they are after valuables and money so of course they are going to hit a nice home instead of a trailer park. They feed on the fact people like to think they are “safe” because thats when people get careless. They will do stakeout in on a street to see who has an alarm and who doesn’t. When you are home, if you have a dog and other weak spots. So what if a cop lives down the road from you, he can’t be home watching your house 24/7 . Not saying this to sound snotty.. I been in law enforcement for 12 years, if you can afford it,do it. I met way to many people that regret not having it.

The home is a man’s castle is often spoken. But modern homes are not constructed with moats, seven foot thick stone walls, drawbridges or ramparts to prevent unwanted intruders from entering a man’s home. In the twenty first century, a home security alarm and preferably a monitored alarm security system, is essential to make sure your home is safe and secure. Installing a home security alarm system will not only provide greater safety for your loved ones and property, but can also lower the cost to insure your home. The following list of essential components of a home alarm and house security system will make your house a more secure home.

Ten Essential Home Alarm Security System Components:

1. Smoke Detectors – Add another layer of protection to your home, especially when they are integrated into the home alarm system. Not only do smoke detectors indicate a fire and give you time to escape safely, but when included in a home security package, they automatically notify the managing company and the fire department. Some systems even integrate the power supply to the smoke detectors. That means you will not have to ever replace the batteries!

2. Back-Up Power Supply – Is important in maintaining home security even during a power outage, when the risk of break-ins and looting is increased. Your home alarm should be effective even when your power is not. The easiest to maintain back-up power supplies use standard size batteries. Look for a model that uses rechargeable batteries to lower your maintenance costs.

3. Master Control Panel – Is vital to any home alarm system. The heart of the home security alarm system, the master alarm control panel is typically installed on a wall in a location with easy access. The panel receives information from all other sensors and key pads, computes it, and transmits relevant information to the monitoring company. If you choose to arm the system from the panel when you leave the house, the master control panel also receives the disarm code when you return home. Some can even be disarmed by telephone!

4.Talking Devices – Make it easy for you to comprehend the status of your home security alarm and monitoring system and also make programming your alarm system simple and quick. Some security systems feature talking master control panels, key pads or remotes.

5. Installation, Monitoring, and Repair Services – These services increase not only the level of safety but the convenience of keeping your home safe. A house alarm alone cannot notify the police or fire department in the event of an emergency. The most complete systems include buttons to notify police departments, fire departments and medical help instantly. Another advantage offered by the best monitoring companies is live customer support and full service installation and repair of the system by employees who have been background checked, licensed and drug tested to ensure your safety. Finally, some companies even offer relocation services to keep you secure even when you move.

6. Wireless Systems – Safeguard your residence without adding excessive wires which may create a tripping hazard or require professional installation of behind the wall alarm cable. In wireless home security alarm system magnetic alarm contacts, keypads and other devices transmit information to the master alarm control panel using radio signals or through available previously installed wiring in your residence. A burglar will never be able to disarm the system by snipping the alarm cable. This ensures the system is fully integrated and monitoring all parts of your home without using up your outlets or creating an obstacle course of alarm cable for you.

7. Key Pads – May not always be enough to keep burglars out. Magnetic Alarm Sensors on Windows and Doors decrease the chance of a home invader entering undetected and are a vital component of a residential security alarm system. The degree of security protection is elevated when Security Alarm Motion Detectors are installed within the residence. The most sophisticated security motion detectors include a feature to ignore pets’ movement to avoid constantly setting the alarm off inadvertently.

8. Extra Key Pads – Are also important. Exterior mounted key pads can provide secure key less entry to your family. Some systems also offer remote control key pads which are lightweight and portable. A home alarm system that features a security code with a key pad increases the security of your home. A monitored system can also lock down entry after several repeated, failed attempts at entry which indicate a possible break-in attempt.

9. Yard Signs and House or Window Decals – Advertise your home’s protection. The Greenwich Study of Residential Security found that homes without alarms were 2.7 to 3.5 times more likely to be burglarized, and that the most effective deterrent was the alarm monitoring company’s yard sign (SIA Research Update, Security Industry Association, October 2001). Some choose to post the signs to deter possible break-ins without actually installing a home alarm system. While this effort will lower the odds of an attempted burglary, a yard sign alone cannot fully protect your home.

10. Extra Key Fobs and Remotes – Some home alarm systems include extras like Key Fobs and Remotes to control the system at a distance. Somewhat similar to a car’s key fob, home security key fobs include buttons to activate and deactivate the house alarm system. Some even include a “panic” button that activates the house alarm and alerts the proper authorities in the event of an emergency. Remote controls are similar and often larger. The features of remotes vary greatly and can include a full key pad, a talking feature and a panic button as well. The talking feature may not result in great conversation, but it will help you understand your system a little better.

Of course, this list is not comprehensive, and the needs of every home and homeowner are different.

Can someone tell me if there is a difference in a Security Alarm and a Intrusion Alarm? ?

I am asking b.c I am making a brochure and the company I worked for previous told me that we couldn’t put security alarm b.c they aren’t monitored. Now the new company is putting security alarm and I am saying we need to put intrusion alarm. So I just need to know does it matter what we put?

Answer
Weird. A security alarm I would take as a general or random alarm, and intrusion alarm is taken as a door alarm (door contact) in our company. Now unless they said security alarm system, then I would just take it as a security system…

Commercial Alarm Security System

Summary

A good commercial alarm security system for your personal organization has become the wisest business actions you may make. It is a necessity within today?s society of high criminal offense. Realizing that ones own premises is certainly safe and it is currently being watched 24/7 is peace of mind. You should definitely have a look at just about all possibilities to find the best deal for your personal organization.

_____________________________________________________________________________________

To guard a small business from burglary, theft in addition to vandalism along with other sorts of criminal actions, it is vital to install a monitored commercial alarm security system. To get overall protection you don?t have very much choice. Naturally it’ll in no way avoid 100% of law-breaking happening, thieves are really clever and therefore are always finding methods for getting past lots of different systems. Within the modern Millennium, crime is actually increasing fast. Huge amounts of dollars are lost each year by commercial businesses, because of people robbing, breaking in, vandalizing and sorry to say it really is becoming more serious on a yearly basis.

Installing a new alarm security system is one method to prevent these types of occurrences. There are various alarm security systems for sale to fit your organization whether it is a tiny corner shop or perhaps a huge multi level shopping centre. Basic burglar alarms might be not successful when it comes to industrial properties, you may need the class of a monitoring system in order to give good results appropriately. Security monitoring is now used together with CCTV (closed circuit TV) and it has at this moment grown to be the most popular method of managing theft in commercial premises. These kinds of systems may be fitted from as small as a single camera, to as much as hundreds.

The actual systems can be monitored via a computer display screen and could be seen on the web if you’re not at your premises. They will behave as deterrents at the same time, which keeps a certain percentage of crooks away. Sadly you can find advanced rings of thieves that will often test the limits. According to the size of your business, you’ve got a few choices. You are able to use a business to monitor your current alarm security system, which is certainly suited to larger companies. For a smaller sized company, a less complicated alarm security system is usually most likely all that’s necessary. A number of cameras used in strategic spots should hopefully be enough for you to deter petty burglars for example shoplifters and children stealing small things, which can still add up to in excess of hundreds of thousands over the course of 1 year.

For greater business its in your greatest interest to set up a monitoring alarm security system that is a lot more sophisticated compared to just a couple of cameras placed here and there. You will have to think about the purchase price it costs to put in this kind of system, how much you’ll have to give the particular security monitoring company to observe it for 24 hours on a daily basis, whether technical support is incorporated within the cost, the length of time it takes for the authorities to respond to a risk etcetera. There’s a lot of things to consider and just like insurance you can also find a lot of providers to select from.

The most effective idea is usually to receive a number of quotes and select the one that suits your company and is the best value. Lowest priced is not always the best choice, and this can be vital to the survival and good results of the business. A commercial alarm security system is the better choice you possibly can make for the security of your company, choose carefully, remembering to choose regarding good quality and service as opposed to cost alone.

What is the difference between a Home Security Alarm & a Pool Door Alarm?

If you have a built in pool in your backyard & a door that enters into the backyard then explain how the difference between a home security system & a pool door alarm operate in order to provide protection from a child entering into the area? Need answer to major dispute.

Answer
The only difference would be is that the pool door would have a Reed switch on it (otherwise known as a mag, which is a magnet that when it’s not connected it would signal to a control room or to a mobile phone) and the home alarm system would have a series of zones with different types of alarms (PIR, MAG’s, etc) If it’s monitored it probably means that the pool door would signal as a higher priority than a movement sensor. I’m assuming another difference would be that the Pool door would be silent, whereas the house alarms would have a strobe and siren. They are pretty much the same thing though, it just depends on whether your house alarms are monitored or not – if they aren’t the difference would be that the pool door would definitely be monitored otherwise it would serve little purpose.

On top of that – the pool door alarm would be armed 24 hrs – unless disarmed by a master code for use of the pool. The house alarms would be turned on and off all the time.
